Over at CES, electronics giant Lenovo has unveiled its budget-friendly smartphone to compete with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G: the A6000 equipped with LTE and a Snapdragon 410 processor.

Not to be confused with the tablet of the same name, the A6000 packs a five-inch HD display, brings Android KitKat with Vibe UI out of the box, and is said to be 8.2 millimeters thin.

Lenovo A6000 specs:
5-inch HD IPS display, 1280 x 720 pixels, 294ppi
1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor
Adreno 306 GPU
1GB RAM
8GB internal memory
expandable via microSD
8MP AF rear camera with LED Flash
2MP front camera
Dual-SIM (micro)
4G LTE, HSPA+
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 4.0
GPS
Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Vibe 2.0 UI
2300mAh battery

The Lenovo A6000 will retail in the US for $169 or roughly Php7,600. The company plans to sell it in India to battle competition such as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G and the Micromax Yu Yureka, both retailing at Rs. 8999 or Php6,500, so we might see that it would be priced lower when it reaches India and hopefully our shores.
